Taking action on reflection

Action Learning (AL) is a problem-solving methodology that involves people working collaboratively to solve real problems in a holistic way that generates learning opportunities. For this project, 2013 Associate Faculty Champion Yeo Beng Teck and fellow instructor Nithya Ramaswamy looked at the extent to which learners reflect on discussions that occurred in the classroom and during the practical component of the course structure. In his presentation, Beng Teck will share key findings from the study that was subsequently used to revamp of the Action Learning course at SIM University, with the objective of making students more reflective learners.
